The remarks were made at separate meetings with the foreign ministers of Spain, Greece and Malta along with the EU foreign policy chief, according to a press release issued by the AL.
The meetings were held on the sidelines of the fourth meeting of the Arab and European foreign ministers at the AL premises in Cairo.
The AL chief noted that joint interests are binding the Arab and European sides together with cultural, political and economic interaction, added the statement.
