
Alexandria Governor Reda Farahat on Wednesday conferred with a Romanian delegation on the mechanisms of cooperation between the state bodies in the fight against corruption.
The meeting with the Romania National Anti-corruption Directorate delegation was attended by Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority in Alexandria Ahmed Al Makhzangy.
The importance of developing all administrative and government elements in the anti-corruption bodies was also discussed in the meeting.
In a statement by the Alexandria governorate, Farahat said that the Egyptian government is exerting the utmost effort to restore the prestige of the administrative system, promote the economy, quickly achieve citizens’ demands and reduce bureaucracy.
The head of delegation, for his part, expressed happiness for visiting Alexandria, hailing it as “a big city with a long history.”
