The General Secretariat of the Cabinet has condemned the kidnapping of the secretary of Minister of State Hassan Sharaf al-Deen in Sanaa. In a press release, a Cabinet secretariate official source said the secretary, Mohammad al-Woshali, was snatched from Baghdad street in Sanaa on Monday as he left the Yemeni American Language Institute (YALI) by a group of armed men on a Toyota Hilux pick-up truck. The source called upon security apparatuses to swiftly initiate an investigation into the circumstances of the abduction, to find out its motives and to arrest the perpetrators. He stressed on the need to find out about the fate of al-Woshali and to take needed measures to guarantee his safe return to his family and to take deterrent legal actions against the kidnappers.
