China's President Hu Jintao has penned a string of business deals worth a total of 18 billion kroner ($3 billion) with some of Denmark's largest companies as he is paying a three-day state visit to the Nordic country, AP reported. The deals were signed on Friday and include agreements with Danish container and shipping group A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S, brewer Carlsberg, wind turbine maker Vestas and dairy cooperative Arla. Hu arrived Thursday and has toured Copenhagen's harbor aboard the royal yacht, cruising by green technology projects as well as the Little Mermaid statue which was briefly lent out to China for the Shanghai World Expo in 2010. On Saturday, he meets Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt before taking off for the G20 summit in Mexico.
