Kuwait's ambassador to the Netherlands, Hafeez Al Ajmi, met Tuesday in the Hague with the Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department in the Dutch Foreign Ministry, Gilles Beschoor Plug, and dicussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and to develop them in all fields. Kuwait embassy sources told the Kuwait news agency, KUNA, that discussions also covered the commercial side as ties between the two countries are reinforced by the large volume of trade exchange, which exceeds 2 billion euros annually. The meeting was attended by the counsellor at the Kuwaiti embassy, Ali Salem Al Thayedi and other Dutch foreign ministry officials.
