The European Union's Foreign Minister Catherine Ashton is expected to pay next Monday, a three-days visit to Pakistan. The Foreign Minister of Pakistan said in a statement on Thursday that Ashton will hold, during the visit, talks with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and Punjab Governor Latif Khosa. Ashton will also head the delegation of the European Union in the strategic dialogue between Pakistan and the EU, while the Pakistani side will be headed by Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar . The launch of the strategic dialogue between the two sides comes in accordance with the decision taken at the first summit held between Pakistan and EU in 2009.
