
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry delivered a speech during the 12th Manama Dialogue, which is organized by the International Institute for Strategic Studies in Bahrain.
Shoukry reviewed pillars of the Egyptian foreign policy toward the Middle East, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid.
He also tackled the viewpoint of the Egyptian leadership on ways of dealing with the region that is suffering from conflicts and crises, added the spokesman.
Shoukry also pointed out to Egypt's stance toward the Syrian issue, saying that Egypt is keen on maintaining Syria's unity and stability.
Regarding the Libyan crisis, Shoukry said that Egypt is committed to implementing Skhirat agreement and encouraging the presidency council to form a new government for the national consensus.
Egypt is committed to establishing the Palestinian State, he said, underlining the importance of returning to the negotiating table.
