Gulf leaders reiterated on Thursday their rejection of Iran's interference in the domestic affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
In the closing statement of the 37th session of the GCC Supreme Council, Gulf leaders urged Tehran to respect the sovereignty of other countries and the principle of good neighborliness.
Iran should change its policy in the region through showing commitment to international conventions and stopping its support for terrorist groups including Hezbollah militias, they said.
They also urged Iranian officials to cooperate with Saudi authorities to help Iranian pilgrims perform their Hajj rituals safely.
The GCC stressed the importance of clearing the Gulf and Middle East region from mass destruction weapons and allowing the peaceful use of nuclear power.
