
International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr received on Monday a delegation from the European people's party group led-by head of European parliament committee on foreign affairs Elmar Brok.
Lauding relations between the European Union (EU) and Egypt, the minister highlighted the importance of increasing EU's support of small and medium-sized enterprises in Egypt to create more jobs for youth.
The meeting tackled economic reform process, EU response to regional developments and assessment of European neighborhood policy in light of developments in the region.
She said Egypt gives priority to a number of important issues, including infrastructure and renewable energy, referring to the attention paid by the ministry to promote youth and their entrepreneurship skills.
The delegation expressed desire to boost cooperation to support Egypt in realizing sustainable and integrated development.
