Israeli authorities on Thursday opened the Kerem Abu Salem crossing, which is located south east of the Gaza Strip, to allow the entry of limited goods. Palestinian Authority's liaison official Raed Fattouh said that the occupation authorities opened the Kerem Abu Salem crossing and will allow one truckload of tomatoes to be exported to Jordan. Fattouh added that the Israeli officials will allow the entry of about 330 trucks loaded with aids for commercial and private sectors, including 20 modern vehicles as well as 18 trucks of cement and iron, 80 trucks of gravel for UNRWA construction and a truckload of three adapters for the power authority. Limited quantities of cooking gas and industrial diesel for the power plant will also be shipped through the same terminal, Fattouh said.
