Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili has said that Israel is currently in its "weakest position" in the wake of the Arab Spring events, Iran's (Press TV) reported Monday. "With the occurrence of popular uprisings in the region and the successive falls of dictatorial regimes, especially the collapse of Mubarak in Egypt, Israel is in its weakest position," Jalili said in a meeting with Secretary of Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) Ahmed Jibril in Tehran last night. Speaking of the Israeli occupation in Palestine, he condemned the assistance Israel is gaining from its allies against the Palestinian resistance movement. "Even though the enemies of the resistance front have mobilized all their efforts to save Israel from this strategic weakness, they will certainly be unsuccessful on this path," the Iranian official added.
