Kim Jong Un reshuffles DPRK defence ministry leadership

Chan Chon Nam has been for the first time named as a new Minister of the People's Armed Forces (Defence Minister) in a report of the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on Monday. Together with the country's Leader Kim Jong Un, Chan was present at a concert of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Internal Security Forces of the DPRK, KCNA points out. The news agency does say when specifically Chan Chon Nam was appointed to the post which had been earlier filled by Kim Kyok Sik. No information about the new Defence Ministry head is given.
