The Military Affairs Committee on Sunday approved to disassemble the rest of the protest tent camp at the university neighborhood in the capital. The decision was made during the committee meeting chaired by Interior Minister Abdul-Qader Qahtan. It agreed to take the required appropriate measures to dismantle the rest of the tents. It also stressed the need to strengthen security and disciplinary aspects in security checkpoints in the capital Sana'a. The committee underscored the necessity to take military and security measures to enhance security in Marib governorate to ensure maintaining the security of citizens and protection of vital public facilities and properties, topped by the oil and gas facilities and pipelines and power lines and towers.
