A recent opinion poll conducted by Israel's Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) indicated that 52 percent of Israel's population are opposing the idea of launching an attack on Iran, whereas the rest -48 percent- said a military attack against Iran's nuclear facilities is preferred. According to the poll results, 18 percent of the respondents believe if Iran acquired a nuclear weapon, they would attack Israel, while 32 percent believe Iranian regime would only intimidate Israel without attacking it in fear of an Israeli retaliation. Meanwhile 62 percent presumed Israel would successfully handle the threat of Iran's nuclear program. The poll was conducted among 632 Israelis aged 18 and older. (QNA)
