A senior judge working with Nepal's highest court - Supreme Court - was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the country's capital Kathmandu, the Press Trust of India (PTI) reported Thursday. Two motorcycle borne assailants followed the judge Rana Bahadur Bam who was travelling in car, and fired at him from close range through the car's window. According to the report, a pamphlet of an unheard group "Nepalbad Party" was found at the scene of the crime, which said that this action was taken "against corruption in the judiciary". The deceased had received gun-shots in his head and chest, and was declared brought dead by a local hospital. According to the report, no arrests have been made so far. The judge's bodyguard has been injured but his driver escaped unhurt.
