A number of extremist Israeli settlers of the Maon illegal settlement, cut on Sunday morning, several Palestinian olive trees, east of Yatta town, south of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, the (IMEMC) News reported. Rateb Al-Jbour, spokesperson of the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements, reported that the settlers cut approximately 30 olive trees planted on two Dunams of orchards that belong to Fadel Rab'ey, and Hibreel Ahmad Rab'ey. Last month, settlers of the Maon settlement carried out four similar attacks, in an attempt to illegally occupy Palestinian lands in order to expand their illegal settlement. Residents of the area voiced an appeal to human rights groups, and all related institutions, to intervene and stop these attacks that target the livelihood of the residents.
