The SOS Regional Office of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) kicks off Monday its annual National Directors conference of SOS Children's Villages in Amman.
The conference is held in the presence of eight national directors, heads of boards of directors of all SOS associations in the MENA region and participants of Austria's International Bureau.
The conference will discuss methods and criteria for alternative care, the 2030 strategy, new patterns in fundraising, in addition to emergency response program and integrity standards.
It will also address child protection policy with a focus on empowering young orphans and children without parental care to make them ready to engage in labor markets.
The annual conference will also tackle, behind closed doors, youth empowerment and employment and holding workshops by experts.
