The Undersecretary of Foreign Ministry for the financial and administrative Affairs ,Mohamed Hussein Hatem, has hailed the efforts of Sudanese authorities to release Yemeni fishermen convicted and detained in Sudan. Hatem told Saba that a decision was issued by Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir included an amnesty for the accused ,whose number is eight fishermen, and dropping the penalty for convicts and their number is three fishermen. He pointed out that he paid a visit to Sudan during the last April to see the situation of Yemeni fishermen in Sudanese prisons and to meet with Sudanese officials to look into their cases.
