Yemen takes part in seventeenth meeting of GSO Board of Directors

Yemen participates in the 17th meeting of the Board of Directors of GCC Standardization Organization (GSO), which kicks off on Wednesday, May 8, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. Upon his departure on Tuesday to Saudi Arabia, Minister of Industry and Trade Saad Aldin bin Taleb said that the meeting would discuss the memorandum of the GSO General Secretariat on the adoption and modernization of the Gulf technical regulations, as well as discussing the approval of replacing the metrological technical committees' guide with the measurement sub-committees' guide. The meeting will also address the report of the GSO General Secretariat on its activities during the period (October 2012 - May 2013), he added.
