Yemeni interior minister meets UK deputy ambassador

Interior Minister Abdul-Qader Qahtan met here on Sunday with UK deputy ambassador to Yemen Sharon Wardle. During the meeting, Qahtan and Wardle discussed aspects of the cooperation relations between Yemen and the UK, particularly in the security field. The Interior Minister hailed the UK's support to Yemen to overcome the crisis and its effective role in succeeding the Gulf initiative. The UK diplomat stressed his country's support for all efforts made by President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi and the government to make the political settlement successful, praising the achievements made so far to enhance the security and stability in the country.
