
Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby arrived in Kuwait Tuesday on a visit to coordinate Arab stances ahead of an Arab Summit in Egypt late March.
Araby is scheduled to hold talks with Kuwaiti officials as part of preparations for the 26th summit due in Sharm el Sheikh on March 28-29, Egyptian Ambassador in Kuwait Abdel Kerim Seliman told MENA after receiving Araby at the airport.
Egypt will be taking over the presidency of the summit from Kuwait, Seliman said.
Araby will meet with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al Ahmed al Jaber al Sabah, as well as the foreign minister and a number of other Kuwaiti officials, the diplomat said.
