
Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa today met Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Ramtane Lamamra, currently on an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Shaikh Khalid praised the outstanding bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Algeria, and its constant development and prosperity in various fields.
He also reconfirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to further developing these bilateral ties to reach new heights in order to achieve the joint goals and aspirations for the benefit of the two countries and peoples.
Lamamra expressed his pleasure to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain, which he said is part of the continuous efforts by the two nations to diversify fields of cooperation and enhance coordination in relation to different causes. He also affirmed that the relations have always been constructive and productive.
The two sides discussed means of developing bilateral relations, particularly by activating the work of the joint action committee between the two nations. They also exchanged views on a number of regional issues.
