
Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Major-General Khalid Salem Al-Absi and Ombudsman Nawaf Mohammed Al-Maawda, today paid a visit to the Directorate of Reformation and Rehabilitation to see the newly built facilities.
They were briefed on the newly built facilities recently built according to international standards and the Interior Ministry’s modernization and development strategy.
The Undersecretary said the visit aimed to follow up the development of facilities of Reformation and Rehabilitation Center to ensure the rights and to boost services for all inmates.
The Ombudsman hailed the Interior Minister's directives to approve the recommendations of the report on Jaw prison and the keen interest of the Interior Undersecretary and Director of Reformation and Rehabilitation Centre to implement them.
He hailed the Interior's development project implemented in line with international standards in terms of providing safety, educational and rehabilitation facilities, to ensure the rights of inmates.
