Crown prince congratulates Kuwaiti emir on national days

His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable Tuesday to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to congratulate him on the 54th anniversary of the Independence Day, the 24th anniversary of the Liberation Day and the ninth anniversary of his assumption to power.
His Highness the Crown Prince said that this year's celebrations follow the UN honoring and proclamation of His Highness the Amir as a "Humanitarian Leader" and of Kuwait as a "Humanitarian Center".
In his cable, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf wished His Highness the Amir everlasting wellbeing to continue his achievements and service to the homeland.
He also prayed to the Almighty God to bestow everlasting stability, security, progress and welfare on Kuwaiti people under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad.
In response, His Highness the Amir sent His Highness the Crown Prince a cable thanking him for his good sentiments and congratulated him and all Kuwaiti people on the national days.
His Highness the Crown Prince sent similar congratulatory cables to National Guard Chief Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah and Sheikh Mubarak Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
In return, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf received cables from the National Guard Chief Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah and Sheikh Mubarak Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah congratulating him on the national days.
Moreover, His Highness the Crown Prince received cables of congratulation from National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim, senior sheikhs, Deputy Chief of the National Guard Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
He also received congratulatory cables from cabinet ministers, governors, senior state officials, MPs, diplomats and a large number of Kuwaiti citizens and residents.
In return, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf sent cables to Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti well-wishers congratulating them on the dear occasion and thanking them for their good sentiments.
