
The death toll in Behira province road accident has reached 17, a Health Ministry statement reads.
Eighteen people have been injured in the accident, it added.
Four people, who are suffering burns of different degrees, were transferred to a military hospital in Alexandria, the statement added.
Eleven other victims were transferred by army air ambulance to two military hospitals in Cairo, and one is still receiving treatment in Damanhour Hospital while two people were discharged from the hospital, it said.
A medical team will head to provide support and psychological treatment for Wednesday's road accident victims, Health Minister Adel Adawi has announced.
Today's crash involved a school bus, a fuel tanker and two passenger vehicles on the Cairo-Alex highway.
