The Democratic Current will hold on Monday an emergency meeting to known members' opinions after Egypt's top court annulled one of the articles of the electoral constituencies law.
In press statements, Medhat Zahad, the Deputy Chairman of Popular Alliance Party, said the Current will review its stance towards the participation in the coming elections after the court verdict.
The Supreme Constitutional Court annulled earlier in the day the third article of the electoral constituencies law.
The article, which the court considered at its session today as unconstitutional, is related to the scope of electoral constituencies, the number of seats allocated for each constituency and the individual list.
