
Deputy Foreign Minister for African Affairs Ambassador Hamdi Sanad Loza headed on Sunday for Vienna to participate in the second United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs) which will be held from 3 to 5 November 2014.
The conference would touch on ways of helping the landlocked countries to serve their own national interests and development goals.
It also will discuss the outcome of the first UN Conference on LLDCs that was held in 2003 as well as taking the necessary steps to achieve development in these countries especially in those situated in Africa.
The aim behind Egypt's participation in this conference is to further boost its strong relations with African landlocked countries like Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda.
