
Iraqi President Fuad Masum received on Monday credentials of new Omani ambassador Mohamed el Farsi.
In a press release, the Iraqi presidency said Masum hailed the relations between the two countries and called on boosting bilateral relations in all fields.
He also greeted Omani Sultan Qaboos's efforts to achieve stability and peace in the region.
Meanwhile, the new Omani ambassador delivered Sultan Qaboos's greetings to the Iraqi president.
Farsi wished stability and peace to prevail soon in Iraq, reiterating his country's support to Iraq in its war against Daesh terrorist group.
