
A Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation travelled to Jordan Tuesday to participate in the 15th meeting of the Executive Committee of Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU), which started today and runs until Thursday.
The delegation, headed by MP Faisal Al-Shayea, includes MPs Saleh Ashour and Seif Al-Azmi as well as National Assembly Secretary General Allam Al-Kandari.
The meeting will study and approve the report of the previous meeting held in Lebanon last September.
It also will focus on the financial situation of the AIPU and follow up the implementation of resolutions of the 20th conference hosted by Kuwait last January as well as discuss situations of the AIPU's General Secretariat.
The 16th meeting of the Executive Committee and the 21st conference of the AIPU will be determined also in today's gathering.
Allam Al-Kandari will participate in the meeting of excellence prize next Thursday.
