Kuwaiti figure honoured with maritime award in Dubai

Sheikh Dr. Sabah Al-Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah was honored with the Maritime Standard Hall of Fame Award at the Seatrade Middle East and Indian Subcontinent Awards' event which was held in Dubai.
After the honoring ceremony, Sheikh Dr. Sabah Al-Jaber, Director General of the Arab Sea Ports Federation, told KUNA Saturday that he dedicated this win to the Kuwait Ports Authority (KPA), adding that he was honored to have received the award which highlights Kuwait's efforts within the maritime domain.
The Kuwaiti official also stressed the importance of maritime activities in bolstering ties among nations, noting that working at the sea provided many opportunities for the people of the world to extend their hands in cooperation and friendship.
The Seatrade Middle East and Indian Subcontinent Awards is an annual event held in Dubai where individuals and companies working within the maritime field are honored.
