Yemeni parties and youths organized a massive protest Saturday against Houthis.
They also supported the legitimacy of Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, who is assuming power from Aden.
The Houthis seized Sanaa last September before tightening their grip and prompting Yemeni President Abdrabu Mansur Hadi to tender his resignation.
The Houthi advance has also strengthened the country’s Al Qaeda branch.
Earlier this month, the Houthi leadership issued a "constitutional declaration" dissolving parliament and establishing a 551-member "transitional council."
