
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met on Thursday with a number of ministerial spokesmen and media advisers.
The meeting comes as part of Mahlab's endeavors to stay in contact with the media to expound the real situation during this critical stage Egypt is passing through.
During the get-together, Mahlab hailed the role played by media outlets in shaping public opinion, uncovering the truth and finding facts about claims made by the terrorist groups.
The premier, moreover, stressed the importance of providing mass media with news on a regular basis.
Finally, Mahlab called on media personnel to shoulder responsibility and participate in the decision making process during the coming period.
