President Masum meets Jaafari

Foreign Minister, Ibrahim al-Jaafari discussed with the President Fuad Masum, the most prominent issues on the political and security arena, the conditions of the displaced, the victories achieved by the military forces and the popular mobilization and international support for Iraq in its war against terrorism.
A statement by the Office of the minister of foreign Affairs said "the two sides also reviewed, during the meeting, which took place in the office of President of the Republic, the results of dialogues and meetings witnessed by Jaafari's visit to Turkey and the practical steps that will re-Iraqi relations with neighboring countries and the whole region and the world, to the right track, based on the exchange of interests of security, political and economic cooperation in order to serve the interests of the peoples ".
