Qatar's advisory council holds its weekly regular session

The Advisory Council held Monday its weekly regular meeting of its 43rd Ordinary Session under the chairmanship of its Speaker HE Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi.
At the outset of the meeting, HE the Secretary-General of the Advisory Council Fahad bin Mubarak Al Khayareen read out the agenda which was agreed upon. Then the Council endorsed the minutes of its previous session.
The Council afterwards discussed a draft law on the issuance of the Commercial Company Law and decided to refer it to the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee to study it and submit a report thereon.
The council also discussed the Public Services and Utilities Committee report on a draft law on the issuance of a safety list for ships with smaller payloads that are not covered by international maritime treaties in the GCC States and decided to refer its recommendations thereon to the Council of Ministers.
