
Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal received Saturday in Algiers the Speaker of the Libyan Parliament who is on a friendship and working visit to Algeria at the invitation of the Speaker of the People’s National Assembly (Lower House of Parliament) Larbi Ould Khelifa, said a communiqué of the Prime Minister’s Office.
The meeting allowed the two sides to exchange views on the situation in Libya at the political and security levels, said the source.
During this meeting, “a convergence of views was reached on ways to support the Libyan brothers in their willingness for dialogue to find a solution to the crisis which preserves the security and sovereignty of this neighbouring and brotherly country,” added the source.
The audience was held in the presence of Libyan Foreign Affairs Minister Mohamed El-Hadj Eddairi, Foreign Affairs Minister Ramtane Lamamra and Minister for Maghreb and African Affairs Abdelkader Messahel.
