Secretary General of the Conservatives Party Sherif Hamouda said President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's call for forming a joint Arab force is a message for all terrorist groups and the countries sponsoring them that a national Arab army would fight terrorism in the region.
In a statement released on Monday, Hamouda said the Arab world is facing serious challenges that necessitated activating a joint defense agreement among the Arab countries.
He called on the Arab countries to adopt comprehensive reform plans and reconsider the charters applied at their home fronts.
Sisi's call for forming a joint Arab shield reflected how far Egypt is working closely with its Arab brethren in confronting terrorism, he added.
