Sistani criticise beheading of 21 Egyptian Copts in Libya

Iraq's top Shiite cleric Grand Ayatollah Ali al Sistani slammed on Friday the beheading of 21 Egyptian Copts in Libya earlier this week at the hands of the terrorist Daesh group.
Representative of the Shiite reference in Karbalaa Sheikh Abdel Mahdi al Karbalaie said killing an innocent soul is a major sin.
Speaking at the weekly sermon, Sheikh Mahdi also spoke of Allah's big reward to people who save the lives of others.
On Sunday, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi announced a seven-day mourning period over the demise of the Egyptian nationals.
