A southern revolutionary council warned of calls to stage uncalculated protests in Aden against President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, saying such rash actions could affect southerns' independence bids.
Staging protests at the current critical stage would serve Houthi leaders and supporters of former Yemeni president, the council said in a statement.
He urged Aden locals to be alert and to fully understand the nature of the current conflict in Yemen and not to be dragged behind calls for protests.
Last week, Hadi has retracted his resignation after escaping a house arrest in the militia-controlled capital. He called on the government ministers to come to Aden for immediate meeting.
The embattled leader had tendered his resignation last month after the Shiite militias of Houthis seized the presidential palace and besieged his residence in Sanaa.
