Two Jewish settlers were wounded in a stabbing incident Saturday morning near Damascus Gate in Al-Quds Old City, The Jerusalem Post cited Israeli police as saying.
The 16-year-old Arab male assailant was killed after the police shot him dead at the scene of the incident, police reported.
Emergency workers provided initial medical treatment to a 62-year-old man in moderate condition and a 65-year-old man with light wounds at the site of the attack. Both victims were evacuated to hospitals for further treatment.
The latest terrorist incident comes amid a wave of violence that has raised concerns over a possible third intifada if tension continues to further escalate.
