200 Gaza residents to perform Friday prayers at al-Aqsa

Some 200 Palestinians left the Gaza Strip on Friday morning through the Israeli-controlled Erez checkpoint to perform Friday prayers at Al Aqsa Mosque.
Palestinian liaison sources confirmed that 200 Palestinians, over the age of 60, have already passed the crossing.
Since October 2014, Erez checkpoint works partially on Fridays to allow the crossing of humanitarian cases.
Also, aged Palestinians are allowed to pass for Friday prayers at Al Aqsa Mosque on the condition that they would return on the same day.
