Belfodil not ready to play

I will not be able to come in the final round of the African Cup of Nations if Algeria qualifies." He said that he did not expect to be summoned so fast and that he was surprised to find his name in the list of the 24 players who were requested to play against Libya in Casablanca on September 9. He said: "Frankly, things were so fast. At first, I talked with the coach of the Algerian team, and I did not expect to be summoned so fast. As we did not agree on this point from the beginning. I thought he wanted to know about my readiness to join the national team. " Belfodil said that he has a long future to honour his country Algeria, and that he is happy to join the team and with the confidence of coach Khalalozic. Finally, he hoped that the Bosnian coach of the Algerian team understands his condition and exempt him temporarily from playing with them.
