At least one person was wounded in a bomb attack in Afghan capital of Kabul on Tuesday, police said.
The attack took place at around midday when a sticky bomb attached to a police vehicle went off in Pashtunistan Watt, a business district near ministry of justice in central Kabul, injuring a passerby, a police official anonymously told Xinhua.
"The injured was shifted to a nearby hospital and an investigation was launched into the incident," the source added.
The police vehicle and a nearby civilian car were damaged while the force of the blast also shattered the windowpanes of several shops near the site.
No group has claimed responsibility yet for the attack, but the Taliban insurgent group routinely claims responsibility for such attacks.
The militants attach the sticky bomb on the security personnel vehicle when it is parked around and since the device is a time bomb or it is controlled by remote controllers, it explodes after a while, damaging the vehicle and causing casualties among its occupants.
