At least 15 people were killed on Monday and 54 others injured, some of them seriously, when two luxury buses collided in Maharashtra''s Buldana district in India, police said. The incident took place in the wee hours on Chikhali road near Mehkar area following which the private buses caught fire under the impact of the collision, charring 13 passengers to death and killing two others on the spot, Press Trust of India (PTI) quoted Mehkar Police Station Inspector S Surywanshi as saying. The injured were rushed to Mehkar Civil Hospital from where the seriously injured were sent to Aurangabad Medical College Hospital, police said. The deceased have not been identified yet as the bodies were charred beyond recognition, they said. (QNA) AMA/LY
