Two people were killed and two others went missing after a fire broke out Tuesday on an 18-ton fishing boat in the Pacific off Tokyo, Japan''s News Agency (Kyodo) reported Wednesday. A coast guard airplane spotted the tuna trawler Koei Maru, with a crew of two Japanese and three Indonesians, in flames in waters about 180 kilometers east-northeast of Hachijo Island Tuesday. The coast guard has recovered the bodies of two people and rescued one of the Indonesian crew members, and is still searching for the others, the officials said. The boat belongs to a fisheries cooperative in Kawaminami, Miyazaki Prefecture, in southwestern Japan.
