5 cars crash causes havoc on freeway

Drivers have been advised to take alternative routes after a multiple car crash on the Kwinana Freeway. The crash occurred in the southbound lane of the freeway in Hammond Park. Police spokesman Samuel Dinnison said five cars were involved in the crash, just north of the Rowley Road exit. The cars collided after breaking to avoid a large item which fell off a trailer. Traffic has already started to bank up. (Au news)
