Yazd steel factory blast claims 7 lives

An explosion in a factory in the central province of Yazd claimed seven lives and injured 12 others Sunday evening, it was announced here on Monday. azd Governor Azizollah Seifi added that the explosion occurred in Ghadir-e Yazd Steel factory at 19:15 local time (15:45 GMT) Sunday evening. He said some of the foreign nationals residing in Yazd province were among those killed in the explosion. Seifi stressed that the icident is currently under thorough investigation.
