
Brunei's Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah has sent messages of condolence to Chinese leaders over deadly warehouse explosions in China's northern port city of Tianjin, which have left 112 people dead and more than 700 others injured.
In a message to President Xi Jinping, the sultan said that he was saddened to learn the loss of life and property following the warehouse blasts in Tianjin, the state Radio Television Brunei reported on Sunday.
On behalf of his government and the people of Brunei, he extended his deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the Chinese government and people, especially to the bereaved families.
In his message to Premier Li Keqiang, the sultan expressed his deep regret over the loss of life and property in the tragedy.
