Alex Rios drove in all six Chicago runs with a pair of home runs Wednesday and powered the White Sox to a 6-2 win over the Minnesota Twins. Rios hit a long shot for a grand slam in the first inning and added a two-run home run in the sixth. He has 22 homers this season. Both the home runs came off Minnesota starter P.J. Walters (2-3). The six runs he allowed came off five hits and three walks. All three of the walks resulted in Chicago runs. He also struck out four in a five-inning outing. Jake Peavy (10-10) also allowed five hits but only one run in getting the win. He lasted six innings, striking out three and walking one. Dewayne Wise singled to open the White Sox first and Walters then walked Kevin Youkilis and Adam Dunn. Walters got an out but Rios pulled the third pitch he saw deep into the seats beyond left field. Eduardo Escobar got the Twins on the board with a third-inning sacrifice fly but Rios made the score 6-1 by following Paul Konerko's walk with a blast to center. Matt Carson's sacrifice fly for Minnesota in the ninth made the final score.
