Hooker Chiliboy Ralepelle was passed fit Friday to travel with South Africa for Rugby Championship Tests in Australia and New Zealand during September. Ralepelle injured his back at a gym on the morning of a 73-13 win over Argentina in Soweto this month and missed the return match one week later, which the Springboks won narrowly. "Chiliboy stayed behind in South Africa to undergo rehabilitation while we went to Argentina and he responded very well," team doctor Craig Roberts told reporters. "On Friday we progressed with his rehabilitation and he did some fitness and running on the field. We are happy with his progress." Wing Bjorn Basson (wrist injury) and centre and captain Jean de Villiers ('flu) took little part in training since the Springboks reassembled in Johannesburg Thursday. The team flies to Sydney Saturday and plays Australia on September 7 in Brisbane and world champions New Zealand on September 14 in Auckland. Source: AFP
