Paris Saint-Germain manager Carlo Ancelotti said Monday that he intends to recruit three new players for next season but rejected the notion that the Qatari-backed club would embark on a "galactic" spending spree. "It won't be a revolution next year, because we have the backbone," the Italian told reporters in the French capital. "Three players, it will be good to improve the team, in all sectors, that's to say a defender, a midfielder and a striker. "We're not looking for a superstar, but a good player. The important thing is not to have a player with a name, but a player that is good technically and tactically for the team. We are going to search for players with international experience and character," Ancelotti explained. "Everyone knows that PSG is a serious club," he added. "I think a lot of players will want to come here next year." Real Madrid's Brazilian midfielder Kaka, who was linked to the Ligue 1 outfit this past winter, is being touted as a possible target as well as Cameroon talisman Samuel Eto'o. Napoli striker Ezequiel Lavezzi could be the first new arrival at the Parc des Princes, however, with PSG currently embroiled in a battle with Inter Milan for the Argentine's signature. Ancelotti also voiced his content with the depth of the 28-strong first-team squad, saying: "it's a good number to prepare for competitions," before hinting that three of four players could be heading for the exit this summer. from ahramonline
